CORMORANT are San Francisco, Bay Area quartet, active some period on national underground metal scene. They have announced its arrival with actuelle full-length, entitled "Metazoa". A band has introduced themselves with pretty promising and releasing ideas. We can find in its album a 10 judging by qualities mainly equalizing tracks. A progressive death metal tendencies and melodic death metal variants structurally dinamize its performing options. But, also other metal stylish variants passes through its expandier arrangments includings, as a classic metal, neo folk traces and power metal offerings as well. Cormorant has offered a pretty unique sound, and one general progressive approach is present on each track separately too. A production is done according to standards of our time, and its imporatant to say, that also other technical elements absolutely satisfies. "Metazoa" realistically has introduced band in best possible manner.
