Out of Sodoma County comes The Ruminators band, fronted by key person Greg Scherer, vocalist, guitarist and composer. A group started out in 1989 year as a folk- rock act, and during the forthcoming period, they have released a 3 discographical offerings - " The Ruminators" ( 1992 ), " Wild West" ( 1998 ), and actuelle one " Loomings". It's not easy to describe general group's performing and stylish option. They are on the field of modern folk tendencies, but its music are also full of psychedelic, rock and ambiental includings. A lirical approach touches inner views, and most of present songs from album were done in slower down tempo and non-dinamical and " darker" mood.A group uses also acoustic instruments as a cello, violin, accordian, and all of present songs posses specific pastiche. The atmosphere in some of the tracks knows to remind on earlist Cohen or Chris Rea works, but Ruminators materials were done in complexier way. Finally, " Loomings" is a serious band's product, worth listener's attention.
